Animal Communication

Q:  I read an article about “animal communicators,”  a growing number of people who say they have the psychic ability to communicate telepathically with various animals. Primates, most notably Koko, a gorilla who was taught sign language and has a vocabulary of more than 600 words may serve as an example. Koko is able to articulate basic desires as what and when she wants to eat, how she “feels” about many things. Does this prove it is possible to communicate with other animals, like our pets?

A: Most men don’t communicate as well as Koko about their feelings. My dog used to come to my side when I cursed and left after I pet her and calmed myself. I saw that as a clear form of communication.

Q: There have been numerous reports recently in the towns of  Fruitland and Farmington on the Navajo Nation of sightings of Bigfoot, pterodactyls, and a miniature tyrannosaurus rex. Some people claim to have seen Pegasus, Griffins and Centaurs, oh my! Native American folklore prohibits many others from coming forward with their visions for fear that may die or be turned to stone. Why do you think there is such a concentration of sightings on Native soil?

A: I don’t know. Maybe Native Americans are more prone to have a creature or dinosaur or Bigfoot fetish.

Q: “From the calm morning, the end will come. When of the dancing horse the number of circles will be 9.” This apocalyptic prophesy is making the rounds online, claiming that Nostradamus predicted that the calm morning, a dancing horse and nine zeroes would beckon the end of the world. The quote implied that South Korea’s Psy and his “Gangnam Style” fandom is the beginning of the end. Since Nostradamus has gotten at least 5% of his predictions to be interpreted as prophesies that became actualities, might his latest offering be construed as people horse dancing their way to doom?

A: Hmmm . . . dancing our way to the end. Could be–I thought disco was the beginning to the end of the world as we know it.

Q: I heard there have been a rash of reporting of people who have spotted black, triangular aircraft. From Maryland to California and even in Canada, these sightings have been reported. Could these be the new wave of UFOs? Have aliens redesigned their spacecraft to confuse earthlings?

A: How should I know? That’s why they’re called Unidentified FOs.
